Gloria Tianne Lastra attended Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Philosophy and Psychology in July 1995. She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Tulane Law School in New Orleans in January 1998. Ms. Lastra is fluent in Spanish, being a native of Puerto Rico. Ms. Lastra’s practice has included varying areas of law on both the plaintiff and defense side, ranging from public entity defense, construction law, insurance defense, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and arbitration. She joined Braden, Gonzalez & Associates in October of 2012.

Gloria Tianne Lastra attended Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Philosophy and Psychology in July 1995. She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Tulane Law School in New Orleans in January 1998. Ms. Lastra holds a Certificate of Advanced Study and Training in Commercial Arbitration, and is fluent in Spanish, being a native of Puerto Rico. While studying at Tulane Law School, Ms. Lastra was a Civil Law Representative of the Student Bar Association and was an Associated Student Body Representative. Ms. Lastra was also employed as a law clerk with in-house counsel at Entergy Corporation, where she worked in the areas of employment, personal injury, public utility, and corporations law.

Following her admission to the Louisiana state bar in April 1998, Ms. Lastra began working for a law firm in downtown New Orleans, where she specialized in the areas of premises liability, product liability, and workers’ compensation defense. In 2006, and in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Ms. Lastra began practicing as an independent contractor, working for several New Orleans law firms and attorneys, and also representing her own clients. Ms. Lastra’s practice has included varying areas of law on both the plaintiff and defense side, ranging from public entity defense, construction law, insurance defense, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and arbitration. She joined Braden, Gonzalez & Associates in October of 2012.
